Since 2008, Haglöfs has been an active partner of this sustainability initiative and focuses on innovative, environmentally conscious solutions. In addition, products that meet the brand's high sustainability criteria receive the "Sustainable Choice" label. Haglöfs, the Swedish brand for backpacks and outdoor equipment, has a long and successful history. The company was founded in 1914 by Wiktor Haglöf, a carpenter who dedicated himself to the production of backpacks. Growing up in Torsång, a small Swedish village, Haglöf was familiar with the harsh nature and the principles of sustainability from an early age. Using his craftsmanship, he created backpacks that could withstand the tough Swedish climate. Today, Haglöfs is one of the largest manufacturers of outdoor equipment in Scandinavia.
